Upgraded Wireless Gear

We have upgraded most of our wireless gear now - New AKG DMS800 digital systems with body pack transmitters and AKG C5 hand helds, Also added some WMS4500 systems to go with our existing WMS4000 and WMS470 body pack systems. We now have almost 60 channels of wireless microphones available!

Working in the new legal wireless band is difficult when using large numbers of wireless in a single venue. The narrow spectrum and competing TV stations leave little room. See the DMS800 spectrum scan photo when 25 systems are on at once! This was the test set up for the upcoming SC Drama League production of Evita.

Some Pic's from the 2015 Master Builders Awards evening at the Bay Hall. Robyn Malcolm was the MC and it was great chatting to her during the meal but dammit - forgot to get the selfie with her! Excellent food from Nige and Jane (Speights/Function Centre) and classy entertainment from The Drama Queens. All AV and lighting supplied by ADL. Tried out the new Roland VR-50HD vision mixer and our Cannon XA25 SDI capable HD video camera.
