We are continuously upgrading our hire inventory with upgrades including an Allen & Heath Dlive C3500 digital console with CDM64 mixrack, Epson Full HD projectors, 300” and 150” 16:9 projection screens, Roland VR50 HD and XS82 Vision mixers, VMix live video production PC's/software with a BMD Duo2 4 channel SDI video capture card, and PTZ Optics remote PTZ cameras to go with our Cannon SDI Cameras. This equipment gears us up to handle high end conferences and events requiring a professional visual experience. We have used this equipment for events such as the recent 2024 NZ national Grassland conference in Oamaru, The South Canterbury Chamber of Commerce BCEA awards, Ashburton Business of the Year awards, Live streaming of school prizegiving and sporting events, Drive in Movie events, and more.
We have added an Allen & Heath CQ-18T Digital mixer to handle smaller events. These are fantastic consoles with built in Bluetooth and WiFi for remote control capabilities (iPad/ Mixing station remote mixing). They also feature Automatic mic mixing (AMM) making them perfect for panel discussions and corporate work.
We have also used this mixer with gret results for solo/duo artists such as Greg Johnson, Mel Parsons, and soon Hollie Smith (Hector Blacks Timaru)
In addition to our Allen & Heath DLive,CQ and iLive consoles we have a Soundcraft SI Impact digital mixer in hire stock for smaller productions and have sold a number of these to local schools - one being Roncalli college who now have a new sound system in the hall including JBL Eon series speakers.
Back in 2015 we upgraded our wireless microphone systems with 10 x AKG DMS800 digital systems with body pack transmitters and 4 x AKG C5 hand helds, and also added some WMS4500 systems to go with our existing WMS4000 and WMS470 body pack systems. In 2024 we have added an additional 8 channels of AKG D800 digital wireless systems so now have a total of over 60 wireless microphone systems!
Some Pic's from the 2015 Master Builders Awards evening at the Bay Hall. Robyn Malcolm was the MC and it was great chatting to her during the meal but dammit - forgot to get the selfie with her! Excellent food from Nige and Jane (Speights/Function Centre) and classy entertainment from The Drama Queens. All AV and lighting supplied by ADL. Used our Roland VR-50HD vision mixer and our Cannon XA25 SDI capable HD video camera.
